COREX A1

Classified reaction to fire of A1 non-combustible COREX A1 Gypsum based fire protection board has many tested applications.

Structural Steelwork

Primarily for use as Fire Protection encasement system for use around Structural Steel Work, it has been tested to EN13381-4 for up to EI 120 minutes

Has full Hp/A tables for the product on both British Steel sections and European sections for columns and beams.

H1 rated – can be installed before building is watertight

Easy fix with staples

White appearance. however can easily decorated with direct applied paint (acrylic sealer required first) or plastered (apply suction coat first to aid adhesion)

Slim Construction at only 100mm thickness for 120 minutes EI

H1 rated – can be installed before building is watertight

Ceilings

Tested to EN13501-2:2007 + A1:2009

For use on Concrete Beam and Aerated Slabs

120 minutes EI (used with min 14kg/m3 mineral wool)

H1 rated – can be installed before building is watertight

White appearance. however can easily decorated with direct applied paint (acrylic sealer required first) or plastered (apply suction coat first to aid adhesion)

 

Shaftwall

Tested to EN13501-2:2007 + A1:2009

Slim Construction at only 125mm thickness for EI 120 minutes (2x 25mm A1 Corex board), 115mm thickness for EI 90 minutes (2x 20mm A1 Corex board),  , 105mm for EI 60 minutes. (2x 15mm A1 Corex board)

Installation required from one side only

Fire performance from either direction

H1 rated – can be installed before building is watertight allowing shaftwall to be installed earlier in the building process.

White appearance. however can easily decorated with direct applied paint (acrylic sealer required first) or plastered (apply suction coat first to aid adhesion)
