REGUPOL Walkway ALU is a protective rubber walkway system designed to safeguard flat roof waterproofing while clearly defining maintenance routes. It’s used around rooftop plant, photovoltaic systems, solar equipment and other technical installations where regular access is required.
The key difference from the Walkway Standard is the aluminium triplex foil laminated to the underside. This barrier prevents plasticiser migration, allowing the walkway to be used safely on all standard waterproofing systems without risk of material interaction over time. Despite its robust construction, it remains significantly lighter than concrete paving slabs, making it suitable for roofs with static load restrictions.
The high density rubber construction helps absorb impact and movement, protecting the membrane beneath from wear and mechanical damage. A flame retardant finish provides resistance to flying sparks and radiant heat, achieving BROOF t1 hard roofing classification for improved flat roof fire safety.
